Dallas and Crystal Leishman will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 13. They have enjoyed a life full of outdoor activities, including camping, fishing, horse racing and riding, and raising gardens. They have loved building two homes together, raising a family and serving in the church. They found great joy in supporting their children in their activities as they were growing up and now in supporting their grandchildren and other local youth through the 4-H livestock program.

Florence Lamb Ashcroft was born in Hyde Park on Nov. 10, 1909. She was the youngest of nine children born to Suel Erastus Lamb and Phebe Thurston Lamb.

Leon Jeffery Creger celebrated his 80th birthday on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

On Nov. 5, 1919, a baby so tiny that she could fit into a tea cup, was born to Alexander Morgan and Hazel Hendricks Nelson at home in Logan. Now her family who cherishes this remarkable woman is honoring her on her 90th birthday.

Brad Harris Allen, son of Bart and Sheri Allen of Pleasant View, formally of Benson, has accepted a call to the California Santa Rosa Spanish Speaking LDS Mission. He enters the MTC Nov. 18. He speaks Sunday, Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. in the Benson 2nd Ward.

Brady Carlen, son of Greg and Lori Carlen of North Logan, has recently returned from the Poland Warsaw LDS Mission. He speaks Sunday, Nov. 8 in the North Logan 14th Ward at 9 a.m.

Terry and Jan Baird of Grantsville, Utah, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Julee Baird, to Jerin Joseph Anderson, son of Larry and Paula Anderson of Providence. They were married in the Salt Lake LDS temple on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009. A reception was held in their honor on Nov. 7 in Grantsville.
